today i went to the mauer park flea market after a marathon brunch in prenzlauer berg. i found an old west german guitar on a table of dusty sunglasses. the moustachioed fellow behind the table wanted 60 euros. i offered 40 and he flatly refused. jeff, blakely and i pooled our money and came up with 45 euros and 57 cents. i think he realized he wasn’t getting any more out of us because he took the offer begrudgingly, asking “why do you do this to me?”

i then proceeded to play an intimate solo performance in front of a graffitied wall.
